Angels Coffee Morning

The Angels Coffee Morning, held on 17th November 2016, was a fabulous start to the Christmas Season. The Irish Ambassador opened his doors and welcomed us all into his festively decorated home with panoramic views of KL.

The centrepiece was the Christmas tree laden with beautiful Angels. Two Children’s homes had been chosen and each Angel held the wish of a hopeful child, simple requests of hair clips or shampoo, football or deodorant. In this day of plenty it truly is humbling to be a part of such a special ‘Reach Out’ to those in need.

The year 5’s from Alice Smith accompanied by Benjamin James spirited through a lovely selection of Christmas Carols with the fine Sister Enda sitting comfortably, conducting from the front. Our President and the Ambassador gave lovely speeches to warm the hearts of all present to dig deep into their pockets to ensure that each of the 65 angels were taken.

After tea, coffee and a lovely selection of cakes were served it wasn’t long before each angle was taken in the promise to make a little child’s Christmas special. Some generous guests took more than one angel.

Overall the morning was fabulously attended and a huge success. This was all thanks to the lovely St Pats ladies behind the scenes not leaving a stone unturned. Special shout out for Sarah, Fiona, Kelly & Niamh.

Thank you for all your support.
