The Annual Kid’s Christmas Party returned to Jump Street in PJ on 8 December 2018. 27 keen jumpers turned up on the day made up of members of the society together with children from the Open Hands Home who together donned their “jumping socks” and took to the trampolines under the watch of the Jump Street staff. All ages were catered for through the variety of games and activities on offer and all jumpers burned up serious amounts of energy through their bouncing through the air, tumbles and spins, and dives into foam pits. After all this activity, all children then sat together for some replenishment – spaghetti, nuggets, chips and sausages – all washed down with some iced lemon tea! But the highlight of the day had to be the visit by Santa Claus who made a special appearance out of his hectic schedule to meet all the children and hear from them on what was on their wish list for Christmas. Santa then headed off on his busy tour after a rendition of some of his favorite Christmas songs by all the children (and some parents!).
